We definitely got our independence from the British 67 years ago.. and here we are celebrating our 68th Independence day.. but thats all about constitutional independence… about democracy..
The next big challenge among us is still due.. independence from the caste system, independence of women, independence from racial or religious discrimination, independence from the dowry system, independence from the cheap mentality and thinking and independence from living in a backward society.
Yes, I am talking about India getting independence from being a developing nation and transforming itself into being a developed nation.
A country where everyone is equal in true terms, not just by the constitution. Where the quality of living is high and where people live in total harmony and peace.
So this Independence day.. let us pledge to become an independent human being for the cause of cleaning our society of the mess that exists. Fight back and help India develop and reach great heights.
